Leadership
Leadership is defined as “a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more coherent and cohesive.” A good leader is one who is always three steps ahead of the others. He looks out for the people before himself. This is according to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library.

I found on the Internet a simple definition is that leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. ... He or she is the person in the group that possesses the combination of personality and leadership skills that makes others want to follow his or her direction.

With all that being said, there is a serious struggle to find anyone in position that fits this quality. Starting from the White House to our local government there are deficiencies. I think this is why the bible says we must pray for those who have leadership (authority) over us. 1Tim. 2:1-4 says; “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”.

But, what about in the Church? Heb. 13:17 says; “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you”. How much more productive will your ministry be when you follow the “Word of God”?

There will never be a “Man of God” that is perfect in the flesh, however when you follow God and pray, God will flow through his “vessel” to enact benefits and blessing for your good. I have never found a perfect God led leader in the Bible except Jesus and you even struggle to follow him! Try again, get to Church starting this Sunday.
