“In the Beginning!”
It is recorded in two specific places in the Bible where the words “In the Beginning” are spoken, Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1, the origin of the first Church and the second Church. Many people may or may not know that the first book of the Bible is called “Genesis” which means; “beginning”, ‘the start”, “origin” or “creation”.
“In the Beginning!”
Consider with me that as God, regarding the World, gave us all we now know, a “Genesis, it stands that for our annual existence, he also gives us a “Genesis! Every 365 days we “Genesis”. On every January 1st we begin again with a fresh start call the “New Year”. Don’t get hung up on the date because your “New Year” may have a different annual date.

I have matured enough to recognize that the argument over the Earth’s origin or “Genesis” is mundane in the whole scope of reality. The main focus ought to be that there was a “Genesis and that God was a part of it.
“In the Beginning!”
Just like the one in the Bible, ours many times seem to start with difficulties and or calamities. What we need to remember is that as in the Bible, greatness can come from destruction, after every storm there’s always calm, after every war throughout our history there has been a time of peace. Don’t be afraid of your “Genesis, I often remind myself while in the midst of turmoil that “this too shall pass”!

I rest in the biblically recorded fact that God says; Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV)

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ¹² Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. ¹³ And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Our God is an awesome wonder and speaks to his people regularly, so surround yourself with others who believe God too and listen for that special voice. It comes through your Bible studying and through your Pastor, just be still and you will hear it. Come back to Church and seek God’s face, I’ll see you at service Sunday.
