What is 'Taxation'
Investopedia says; Taxation refers to compulsory or coercive money collection by a levying authority, usually a government. The term "taxation" applies to all types of involuntary levies, from income to capital gains to estate taxes. Though taxation can be a noun or verb, it is usually referred to as an act; the resulting revenue is usually called "taxes."Wikipedia says; A tax (from the Latin taxo) is a mandatory financial charge or some other type of levy imposed upon a taxpayer (an individual or other legal entity) by a governmental organization in order to fund various public expenditures.[1] A failure to pay, or evasion of or resistance to taxation, is punishable by law.

I know that it is ridiculous that I may seem to insult you with these definitions. I only print this to remind us not so much regarding what obligations we have to the IRS this month, but of our obligations to our God always. Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth”.

Malachi 3:8 may also seem to insult us by asking “will a man rob God?” and then without waiting on us to lie, the answer come back immediately say YES! We say that we are the “Children of the Most High”,
“The Beloved of the Father”, we even have the audacity to say that we are Christians, yet we do not follow where our God leads.

We diligently surrender a portion of our resources to the worldly powers that be, in fear of incarceration if we refuse, but there does not appear to be that same fear of our God who gives us everything we possess. How can we justify our being more afraid of what man will do to us than we are of what our Creator will do for our disobedience? Malachi 3:8-12
“Taxation”
We have become deceived by this world’s system to the neglect of Heaven’s system. This Sunday come to Church and learn more of how we are in line for manifold riches from a loving God as he delights in our obedience to him.
