Ahh!! “June” where have you been? It’s gone too long since we’ve spent time together, oh how I’ve missed those wonderful moments alone with you.
“June”
Here is a month on the calendar when a whole lot activity takes place; I mean we can get even overwhelmed with the amount of items on our agenda. We seem so busy with events that wear us out at times and we neglect our relationships even putting off time together.
“June”
You probably think I’m speaking of worldly romance when it is world romance I am calling your attention to, particularly your personal relationship romance with our “God”.
“June”
Isn’t Father’s Day this month, can you now hear our Father calling out to you with these same words I started with? Where have you been? He’s talking about your lack of attendance and real participation at the church. For far too many of you he’s also saying, It’s been too long since we’ve spent time together.
“June”
Sure I know and God knows that you are finally getting a break from school and other loaded issues, like proms, weddings, graduations, planning trips and etc. When will we truly understand what we owe God and when will we begin our payments. All God wants is what he made just for his pleasure, that’s YOU. Remember Psalms 100:3 KJV: Know ye that the LORD he [is] God: [it is] he [that] hath made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
God is Looking for You!
