“Ready, Set, Go”
Vroom, Vroom, that’s the sound a car makes when it’s raring to go, Vroom. I’ve been behind the wheel in a car making that sound, Vroom. It as though I just can’t wait any longer to move this car as fast as it will go down the street. The car is in gear my foot is on both the brakes as well as the gas. Seem like it lifts up off the ground a little when I press the gas while on the brakes I’m ready to go.

Vroom, What about you are you ready to go as fast as you can go? Well this is January, the first month of a brand new year, aren’t you excited? Vroom, our God has given us the blessing of his keeping us through last year and gifting us with this year. We ought to be energized as we are infused with the gratitude due him for all he’s done for us.
“Ready, Set, Go”
Come on; get revved up because our God has great plans for you this year and in order to fully benefit from them we must be excited and ready to move with haste. I know you may say “scripture reminds us that the race is not given to swift, nor to the strong but to those who endure to the end” and right you are, however even the tortoise of another story had to have the gift of endurance that comes from our Heavenly Father to make it through.

You may think you have nothing left to give or maybe you see yourself as missing a few good parts or setting idle as a pile of junk like a car waiting to just be scrapped. Begin today and don’t stop, let the gifts of God carry you over this year. Remember “He knows the plans that he has for you…” and that “you can do all things through Christ our Lord”. Let’s go!!!
